It’s reported that mental health problems cost UK employers £30 billion a year in lost production, recruitment and absence – something we simply shouldn’t be ignoring, but often we find exactly the opposite! The reason for this is fairly simple: although mental health issues are very common – one in four of us will suffer mental health problems during our lives – we find it very difficult to talk about, and often even more difficult to manage.
But ignoring mental health issues could be very expensive – The Centre for Mental Health charity estimates that by improving management in this area we could reduce costs by a third.
This webinar will give an overview of the legal framework relevant to managing mental health at work and give you some practical tips and advice to address this issue and support employees.
